TOUR DE FORCE

“Tour de Force” is a series which scrutinizes mankinds’ unchanging struggle for power since its creation. It seeks the grounds of the problems of contemporary life in the patriarchal order that has been established from the start, it tries to understand which instinctive motivations led to the establishment of this order. It depicts this process with topics like the conflict between the sexes, the protective instinct of the male over the female, the appropriation of females by males, jealousy, conflict between generations, the instinct to live and the ego. It searches for the root causes of the roles that we are stuck with nowadays from birth. From this background, “Tour de Force” opens the most archaic faults of mankind to the viewer with a relentless point of view.

 

GÖVDE GÖSTERİSİ

 

''Gövde Gösterisi'' insanoğlunun yaratıldığı günden bugüne kadar hiç değişmeyen iktidar mücadelelerini irdeleyen bir seridir. Çağdaş hayatın sorunlarının temelini insanın en baştan kurduğu ataerkil düzende arar, bu düzenin hangi içgüdüsel dürtülerle kurulduğunu anlamaya çalışır. Bu süreci, düzenin kurulmasının motivasyonu olan kadın-erkek çekişmesi, erkeğin kadını koruma içgüdüsü ve onu kendine mal etmesi, kıskançlık, kuşak çatışması, yaşama içgüdüsü ve ego gibi konularla işler ve günümüzde bizlere doğuştan yapışan rollerimizin en temeldeki sebeplerini arar. Bu temelde ''Gövde Gösterisi'' acımasız bir bakış açısıyla insanoğlunun en eski kusurlarını izleyiciye açar.
